BIO OF THE PERFUMER
Sparkling and joyful, Julie Massé was born in Tokyo, and lived in Japan until the age of five. From the earliest age she wanted to smell everything. She began to train simply and naturally with samples of fragrances and raw materials her father brought home. It was her favorite way of discovering the world, and she always wanted to work in the Perfumery industry.
She had the opportunity to become a Perfumer supervised during three years by Pierre Bourdon, who taught her the “Narrative Perfumery”. Christine Nagel then pushed her to dare more and guided her to develop her creativity.
She joined the Mane Fine Fragrance creative team in 2010. She since created great perfumes for international brands like Giorgio Armani, Calvin Klein, Dolce&Gabbana, Yves Saint Laurent and Fragrances of Exception brands like Goutal or Shay & Blue.
